Southern Fulton Pre-K Counts Program
The Pre-K Counts program in the Southern Fulton School District is accepting applications for the 2025-2026 school year. SFSD has partnered with the Fulton County Family Partnership to offer this valuable program to families in the School District. Applications are currently being accepted for this program SF Pre-K Counts Application . Eligible families are encouraged to apply by June 28 to avoid missing out on this educational opportunity. Look for the initial application on the SFSD website.
All families must reside in the school district and meet the PA Pre-K Counts income guidelines in order to be considered for the program. Please look over the guidelines before applying. If you are income eligible, continue to fill out the application. Families who qualify financially, and also have secondary at-risk factors (for example: English as a second language, Foster Care, Early Intervention Services, etc.), and children who will be 4 years old at the start of the school year will be given priority consideration.
To apply for the SF Pre-K Counts Program, complete the application and include a month's worth of pay stubs and other income for your household, or your most recent tax return. To save yourself time and the hassle of filling out unnecessary paperwork, please only apply if you believe you meet the income guidelines that are listed below. Please note that the guidelines are listed for gross income.
The SF Pre-K Counts Program is free and includes breakfast, snack, and lunch. Children arrive at the SF Elementary School at 8:30 and leave at 2:30. Free transportation can be provided. We use an approved play-based curriculum and provide periodic screenings and assessments, along with at least 2 parent-teacher conferences a year. We try to follow the school district schedule and provide a limited amount of before-school (8-8:30) and after-school (2:30-3) care.
You may submit completed applications to the Southern Fulton District Office or mail/drop off at The Fulton County Family Partnership, 22438 Great Cove Rd. McConnellsburg, PA 17233.
If you have questions regarding the application process, please contact Shanna Schwentner, Assistant Child Care Manager, SF Pre-K, at (717) 830-0094 or via email sschwentner@fcfpinc.org.
