Who Should Attend? If you are concerned that a loved one is at risk for overdosing on heroin or a prescription pain medication, this training is for you.
What will you learn? Training Participants will learn about Opioid types; how to recognize, respond to and prevent an opioid overdose; how to administer Intra-Nasal Naloxone (Narcan) to reverse an overdose.
What is Naloxone? It is a medication that reverses an opioid overdose. It cannot be used to get high and it is not addictive.
